How To Set Up Your New Fossil Q Hybrid Smartwatch

Fossil Q Hybrid Smartwatch. Now let's get started. Download the Fossil Q app
on your Smartphone from Google Play
or the App Store. Create an account
and follow the steps on your phone.

Get ready to pair your Smartwatch. Push and hold the middle button
on your Smartwatch for about five seconds. Make sure it's near your device
and your Bluetooth is on. When you feel it vibrate
and see the hands spin, then your watch is ready to pair.

In the app, select
your Smartwatch in the Q list. The syncing process
will take a few minutes to complete. Now your devices are paired. Follow the steps
on your app screen to calibrate the hands.

This ensures
your watch tells the right time.  Set up your personal profile
by entering your height, weight, step and sleep goals. Now you're ready to go. Our smart technology
is easy to use.

There are three buttons
on the right side of your Hybrid Smartwatch
that perform various functions. Press the top button
to view today's date. The hour and minute hands
will point to the day of the month on the outer dial. Press the middle button
to switch between modes.

Inside the sub eye
you'll see additional features such as second time zone,
the last alert, current alarm setting,
and today's date. Push once
to see the second time zone. Push twice to see
who sent you the last notification. Push three times
to check when your alarm is set.

For the men's Smartwatches, push four times
to view the 24 hour time located
on the outer rim of the dial. Press the toggle button five times
to view the date. Press the bottom button
to activate Q LINK. The smart button technology
that allows you to take a photo, control your music,
or ring your phone.

Within the Q app, tap "on"
to customize which function you would like
your Hybrid Smartwatch to do. You can only set
one function at a time. After you've turned it on in the app press the bottom button
on your Hybrid Smartwatch. This is now your home screen
for easy step and sleep tracking.

On the step screen
you can track your steps, distance, and calories burned. Swipe up or down to view daily,
weekly, or monthly summaries. Swipe left or right
to view your activity history from past days or weeks. You can adjust your activity goals
by pressing "Change Step Goal." Quickly track your activity
throughout the day on the sub eye
of your Hybrid Smartwatch.

When you reach your step goal,
the hands will move in celebration. Tap "sleep" on the home screen to view your daily sleep duration
and quality. To change the graph view,
swipe up or down for daily, weekly or monthly summaries. Swipe left or right
to view your sleep history from past days or weeks.

You can also adjust
your daily sleep goal by pressing "Change Sleep Goal". Choose up to six contacts
and six apps in your filtered notification settings. Select a contact in the app
and scroll down to choose a person
in your address book. Then, pick the hour marker
for that person.

When that person
calls or texts you, your Hybrid Smartwatch will vibrate. Then the sub eye hand
will point to alert, and both the minute
and the hour hands will move to the hour
you previously selected. To customize the notifications
for your favorite apps, scroll through
and choose one from "My Apps", then pick the hour marker
for that app. Whenever you receive
a message or update, your Hybrid Smartwatch will vibrate.

push the release pin to the center and pull out each strap. Place the new strap in
one side at a time. Lock the strap's pin
by securing it to the right.

Now you're ready to go. There's no charging required when it comes
to our Hybrid Smartwatches. When your battery is low,
both hands will point to six as a one-time notification. You'll need to change out the battery
every six months or so depending on usage.

Use the provided Q tool
or any coin and insert it
into the back of the watch, turning it counter-clockwise to open. Then, replace the CR 2430 battery,
which is available at most retailers. So that's it. Enjoy your Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch.
